The Bester family is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary of providing rough cut hardwood to a broad base of end users. In 1963, Lorne Bester (1937-2013) founded Lorne Bester and Sons Ltd. which was located just outside Cargill, Ontario. In 1997, Bester Forest Products Inc. was founded by sons Bruce and Pat Bester and the two companies decided to join forces and build a new facility at the current location in Walkerton, Ontario. The Bester family is proud to continue the tradition of manufacturing and selling quality hardwood products and by-products. Bester Forest Products are buyers of logs and standing timber and provide hardwood lumber, kiln-dried lumber, wood mulch, sawdust, firewood and rough cut lumber for hardwood flooring, furniture manufacturing and more.

Looking for lumber handlers to sort and pile lumber. Must be able to lift, bend and twist to pile heavy lumber, fast paced and physically demanding. Please send resume.
